Tattoo deux.

I want it so bad. But the question is… UV ink, or regular ink? I was so confident in getting my first tattoo because it is so small. I am very apprehensive to get a large back tattoo in visible ink. But an artist whose work I admire greatly and who even has a uv ink tattoo himself has suggested to me that it’s not worth it. Hm.

New York is a place I have ALWAYS identified with, especially when I move to Arizona from NY. Just me and my mom moved here, and I was so lonely. One of the only things that helped me define who I was and give me confidence and courage was telling people about NY. Without it, my character would have been lost. I am so grateful for this part of my life and self. It continues to follow me to this day. “Rena, you New Yorker!” to me it means being strong, confident, loud, manipulative (in a good way), and able to overcome anything. Powerful, like the many buildings. Manhattan is the most recognized part of new york, so I am getting the skyline from the Brooklyn bridge (I think, may change the perspective). My moms from Brooklyn. I am going to have the skyline form from a heart monitor pattern :) I’ll draw it up, scan it, and post soon :)
